As Pre-Schoolers gain more self-esteem, they feel ready to take on the world! Our Pre-School Program enhances that confidence by providing activities to help children become problem solvers, lifelong learners, and the future caretakers of our planet.

Through independent exploration and discovery, teacher guided experiences, and structured activities, children develop early literacy, mathematics, science, and social skills. A daily, healthy dose of running, jumping, and dancing keeps them active as well!

Communicating With Others

Heart 2 Heart guides your Pre-School child in developing communication skills with learning opportunities rich in language.  Children will understand and communicate through words both spoken and written. At this age children enrich their vocabulary and express themselves by participating in conversation and using language to solve problems. Children learn to make sense of the written language and begin to understand the purpose of print and how it works. They develop reading readiness skills by relating words with pictures. This successfully instills a love of reading. Read Aloud time ultimately leads to a lifelong love of books.

Brain Development

Heart 2 Heart helps your child gain higher-level thinking and strategizing skills.
We encourage the exploration of the physical properties of materials: daily calendar activities to teach about sequence of events, patterns, and routines.  We support the learning of cognitive skills; such as, counting, estimating, making predictions, drawing conclusions, and inquiry-based learning.

Making New Friends

Heart 2 Heart guides your child in developing strong relationships by understanding differences, accepting, and passing on kindness.

Growing a Healthy Body

Heart 2 Heart helps your child refine motor skills.  Your child will participate in a wide variety of activities in which they can jump, climb, balance, etc., these gross motor activities stimulate muscle coordination, balance, rhythm, and understanding of personal space.

Nurturing Creativity

The Pre-School Program encourages persistence, inquiry, creativity, and problem-solving.  We establish a foundation which allows a child’s self-esteem to flourish and encourages them to be curious and motivated to learn!
